Love, Solitude and Box(es) is een solo theatervoorstelling over anders-zijn, eenzaamheid en worstelingen waar lichamelijkheid, ruimte, dans en muziek als belangrijkste expressiemiddelen worden gebruikt. Frederico integreert de specifieke kenmerken van de locatie om gevoelige thema's uit zijn biografie te verkennen en bloot te leggen, zoals: immigrant zijn in Europa; herinneringen aan een ex-geliefde; de dagelijkse verplichting om altijd op zijn hoede te zijn wanneer hij als een buitenstaander wordt gezien in een racistische, xenofobe en homofobe maatschappij. De performer neemt het publiek mee doorheen zijn leven, terwijl zijn lichaam al dansend zijn open wonden bezingt en bespot. Love, Solitude and Box(es) is een poging om Frederico Araujo in al zijn aspecten te tonen, in deze cluster van pijn en mogelijk soelaas.

Love, Solitude and Box(es) is a solo theatrical performance about otherness, loneliness and struggles where the corporality, the space, the dance and the music will be the main tools of expression for the performer. Frederico Araujo uses the specificities of the location to explore and expose sensitive themes of his biography, such as: being an immigrant in Europe; memories of an ex-love; and the daily obligation to always be wary when he is perceived as an outsider in a racist, xenophobic and homophobic society. The performer takes the audience with him through his life while his body dances, sings and laughs at his open wounds. Love, Solitude and Box(es) is an attempt to show Frederico Araujo in his entirety, in this catalogue of pains and possible healing.

Frederico Araujo utilise les spécificités du lieu pour explorer et exposer des thèmes sensibles de sa biographie, tels que: être un immigrant en Europe; les souvenirs d'un ancien amour; l'obligation quotidienne de toujours être sur ses gardes, étant considéré comme un étranger dans une société raciste, xénophobe et homophobe. L’artiste emmène le public à travers sa vie tandis que son corps danse, chante et se moque de ses blessures ouvertes. Love, Solitude and Box(es) est une tentative de montrer Frederico Araujo dans son intégralité, dans ce catalogue de douleurs et de guérisons possibles.
