In collaboration with the Kurdish Institute Brussels, CINEMA RITCS will focus on Kurdish Cinema Made in Belgium. Next to two feature films, 6 shorts will be screened in original version with English subtitles and in presence of the directors.
- ZAGROS
The Kurdish shepherd Zagros hears that his wife Havin is accused of adultery by his family. Havin denies everything and Zagros is convinced of her innocence. But when Havin flees to the West with their daughter, Zagros begins to have doubts. This first feature film by Sahim Omar Kalifa won the Grand Prix for Best Film at the Ghent International Film Festival.
