Unique and authentic 

Acting requires courage and authenticity. You are your own instrument — and this can be developed. This course focuses entirely on your growth as an artist. You will experiment with your voice and body as essential tools, discovering what makes you unique as a performer. Daily training and workshops will push you beyond your limits. While you immerse yourself in traditions, the programme also gives you ample space for an independent and innovative approach.

A creative performer

At our school, you are more than just an actor — you are a creative performer. Driven by curiosity and joy, you will contribute actively to the creation process. Together with your peers, you will work on productions that are both thematically and artistically robust. Whether it’s physical theatre, classical texts, or experimental performances, you will be part of a collective that explores and expands artistic boundaries.

Learning from the best

Acting is a craft that deepens with experience. Throughout the programme, you will be guided by professional performers and creators from the international performing arts scene. They will share best practices and challenge you to take risks and broaden your range. Each year, you will also have the opportunity to develop your own solo performance, building a strong and diverse portfolio.

Broad horizons 

Through exchanges and internships, you will discover new perspectives and acting styles. You will have the chance to build an international network and gain experience in various creative environments. This equips you with the tools and connections to pursue a diverse career as a performer or creator on the global stage.

First year: discovering and building 

You will dive into intensive exercises exploring your potential as a performer. Developing foundational skills like voice work, acting, imagination, and interpretation, you will also study theoretical subjects such as art and cultural history, political history, and current events to provide a solid knowledge base. Together with your fellow students, you will participate in acting workshops led by different directors, engaging playfully and adventurously with a variety of assignments. You will learn how to transform your ideas into compelling physical and vocal performances.

Second year: deepening and experimenting 

The second year focuses on broadening your skills and expanding your theoretical knowledge with subjects like text and performance analysis and theatre history. You will be encouraged to take risks, show initiative, and make adventurous choices. Intensive workshops will expose you to diverse texts, acting styles, and techniques — from acting to singing and dance. This is a year for personal growth and embracing change as you develop your artistic voice.

Third year: individuality and completion 

In your third year, you will focus on refining your unique identity as a performer. Working on challenging productions, both individually and in groups, you will enhance your skills in speech, transformation, and expression. Courses in cultural and business policy will provide an introduction to the professional sector. By the end of your bachelor’s degree, you will have built a strong portfolio and acquired the skills and discipline necessary for further development in the professional theatre world. In addition to a collective bachelor’s project, you will collaborate with directing students on co-creation projects.

Master's year: preparing for practice

The master’s programme in Drama – Acting simulates real-world professional practice. You will work on monologues and in-house projects, develop materials under the guidance of a personal coach, and have the opportunity to complete an internship in a professional context. Your master’s thesis will demonstrate your readiness to perform across a variety of productions. The combination of collective and individual challenges lays a solid foundation for a versatile career as a performer.

Admission test

To start this programme, you must first pass an artistic admission test. The admission test consists of three parts: a dossier, an intake or selection interview and a workshop week. Read more about the admission tests here.
