'Somewhere between being born and death' - Masterproef Drama: Regie-Schrijven

I turned in the announcement text for this play too late. A few days ago, I overslept and missed an important meeting - one I didn't even know was happening. Now I’m standing on the rehearsal stage, staring at the wall, and I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing.

Honestly, I can’t even tell you what this play is about. I’m not sure if I’ll be on stage alone or with others. What I do know is that - for the first time in a long while - I’m not stressed, the stabbing pain in my chest has finally eased, and I’m sleeping better again. Maybe this will be my last play. Right now, it all kind of depends on how things go. If it doesn’t work out, it’s time to say goodbye I guess - with a bottle of sparkling wine in hand and a big smile on my face.

P.s. I found a flamingo in the street today.

Van zaterdag 7 tot en met vrijdag 27 juni ontdek je de eindwerken van onze laatstejaarsstudenten Drama en Audiovisuele Kunsten op onze beide campussen in Brussel. Elk afstudeerproject markeert het hoogtepunt van de reis die de studenten aan het RITCS hebben afgelegd. Op het programma onder meer een portfolio-event van de professionele bachelorstudenten, theatervoorstellingen van onze studenten Drama en Podiumtechnieken en een festivaldag vol luistersessies, schrijversgesprekken, performances en screenings van de documentaire-, fictie- en animatiefilms van de academische masterstudenten in de Audiovisuele Kunsten.
