I'M THE SAME, I'M AN OTHER (2013) is de opvolger van Caroline Strubbes veelgeprezen, zintuiglijke “Lost Persons Area” (2009), maar kan ook los worden gezien. Het is een minimalistische, suggestieve en sfeerrijke kruising tussen een psychologisch drama en een roadmovie, over een slonzige Hongaar en een jong, obsessief-compulsief meisje. Veel zeggen de twee niet, maar gaandeweg ga je toch met ze meevoelen - zoveel zelfs dat je benieuwd raakt hoe het verder met ze zal gaan en dus uitkijkt naar het derde deel dat nog gemaakt moet worden.

I'M THE SAME, I'M AN OTHER (2013) is the follow-up to Caroline Strubbe's acclaimed film “Lost Persons Area” (2009), though it can also be seen on its own. It is a minimalist, suggestive and atmospheric mixture between psychological drama and a road movie. It follows a dowdy Hungarian and a young, obsessive-compulsive girl. The two don't say much, but gradually you start to sympathize with them - so much so that you become curious about how they will go on and therefore, start looking forward to the third part that has yet to be made.
